APP does not work

I just installed this on my IPAD for the 4th time and it freezes immediately. Spent an hour trying to get it to work. Tried to let developers know but cant get to the website

Great, Could Be Extraordinary!

I love this app. Im full time employed, a father of 3, a husband, a full time university student, and a participant in a Code Camp. Needless to say, Im a busy individual. This app has been amazing in helping me prioritize my tasks and projects. My production has increased and it seems I have more time for family. There are somethings Id like to see... Better explanation on Projects, tasks, schedule, and things like that. Im still learning the app, so Ive spent some time fixing misplaced tasks and such. If you dont properly place your tasks/projects, you basically need to redo it in a different section. It would be cool if you could split tasks into different time slots also. Example - I have two chapters to read in the next two days. Instead of saying "starts at this date and time, and ends at this date and time...", itd be awesome if I could take that task, and put it into multiple time frames, without needing to input the task multiple times. Maybe a "copy" feature for tasks. Its small things like that, which could be added and make this a 6-Star application. As it is now, for $1.99, this application is a steal and a must have!

It helps!

I am a huge procrastinator and it was really affecting and still does, my personal and professional life so I splurged and got this app. It really helps to imagine the smallest step and just focus on it until its done. Plus it helps keep you organized and not burnt out. I havent put a ton of projects or tasks into it so I cant speak for it slowing down, but so far it works really well for me!

Great motivator!

Im so much more focused with this app. I begin to wander into old habits, and suddenly a task pops up. Whoa! Better get this done, I think. Then Im back on track . Thanks to you all --the Procraster team.

Used for months, not intuitive and buggy

I love the timer app and that it adds sessions to your calendar. But there are too many times where it needed to be reset. For example - even though Ive completed all my tasks the icon still shows up with the number 3 indicating that I still have 3 tasks due. Your calendar wont be updated unless you remember to go into the task and set the start time. I submitted a report in about a month ago and heard nothing back. Good idea, poorly executed and rarely updated.

A tool to get things done!

The developer successfully combined the GTD method and Pomodoro into a useful system of productivity. You are greeted with a elegant interface to enter your tasks. Theres a "timer" section which is really a Pomodoro timer. While it doesnt fully follow the Pomodoro method (every 4 Pomodoros you get a 15 minute break). It is easy enough to change. The task section looks very similar to a standard GTD setup. You have an inbox, next action section, projects and someday folders. If you are familiar with GTD you can hit the ground running with the app. Even if you dont, the app has a wonderful and thorough help section. So what is the cons? Well, it is only an iOS app. So if you dont own an iPad, it is really annoying to enter all your tasking on an iPhone. Maybe this would be easier if I got an iPhone 6s Plus. But I would hope that the developer makes a web app to easily enter task when you dont have your phone. Overall the app is wonderful. It may be missing some items like sub list but if task requires sub task it might need to go into the project folder.

Brilliant, with potential

First, this app is totally brilliant. Specific strengths include (a) the timer with calendar integration, (b) the differentiation between start/due dates, (c) repeat after completion vs. repeat regularly option, (d) stats (beautiful!), (e) affordability, and (f) the motivational home screen (which I dont really use, but I appreciate its value nonetheless). Second, the 4 things that would make this app absolutely indispensable (in order of importance) would be: Computer access/sync. Whether it was available as a menu bar app (preferably with the timer/stopwatch time in the menu bar), a web app, or desktop app, being able to use this app on the computer would be an amazing addition that would improve my workflow. Syncing timers across devices. At present, the timer only runs on the device where you start running it. Though of course it syncs the completed time across devices, it would be amazingly helpful if you could start the clock on one device and turn it off on any other device. Regular prompts when timer is running. It would be wonderfully helpful if there was some sort of regular reminder to remind you that a timer is running, whether just a reminder notification: “your timer has been running for 30 minutes,” or a prompt with options: “your timer has been running for 30 minutes. are you still working on [task]?” (e.g., Harvest) or a menu-bar icon (Mac) or Notification Center widget (iOS/Mac) that would show the running timer. Not adding new events for recurring tasks (e.g., Nozbe). Sometimes the app gets cluttered if I haven’t done some of my recurring tasks in a while. Preferably, only one copy event would ever show at a given time.

Awesome

Had over 3 app for managing tasks. Now Im down only to Procraster. The stopwatch is incredible (logs activity in your calendar). Since now I predict how much time an activity took vs actual time spent.

Great app but has issues

Great little app to maintain focus and keep track of tasks. However, it freezes often following completion of a timer and you have to close the app to reset it. Also the reports leave a lot to be desired. Im trying this app along with a couple others so the jury is still out on whether it will become a permanent fixture on my iPad.

Awesome

Makes studying and organizing projects and assignments much easier! Wish it had a component that blocked use of certain apps during the study time and unblocked during break time. Other than that, this has been so helpful!

Great app -- love its many features

Ive used this app to help me study. Itd be helpful if it had options to schedule time like pomodoros and had sublists to tasks. Still, its a fantastic app.

Truly excellent

Except for a few minor things. The app is not always intuitive, and has a few little bugs, but overall it is excellent and well worth the price of admission to anyone who wants something between a to do list, a timer, and an activity tracker. Even just the anti-procrastination prompts are very helpful! I would love to give it five stars, but this way theres room to improve! Unifying to UI would be a great start, as would reducing the number of taps required for some actions (e.g. Tagging)

Good, with major annoyance

Loved it before the update that made the auto-correct incredibly frustrating. Just tried to type "food". It was impossible because it was changed to "good". Cant type names. The autocorrect is aggressive in its wrongness. Also wrote a previous long (kinder) review but was only told after I was done that my nickname was taken. Poor programming and unnecessary frustration for the user. Beginning to wonder if this app is secretly an experiment in his people handle frustration. Will this review be thrown out too? Lets hope not.

Simple - does what it says

This has a good balance between features and simplicity... For me the app is intuitive and in addition, it has some eye-candy appeal.

4 stars

It’s not actually helpful

Works well for me

Got this app recently. Still trying to figure out its many features. I am very happy with it so far. I use it every day since download. Thanks for making it free. A start off tutorial accessible within the app would be helpful.

Slow and unresponsive

I like the idea of the app but it constantly stops responding which makes very frustrating to use.

Thanks!

Overall, amazing! I have noticed some delays while typing tasks in.

Would be wonderful without autocorrect

It is a wonderful app that is very helpful, but it is nearly unusable because of the autocorrect.

Clean interface

I use it every day
