Good for long project
This in combination with Freedom Internet blocker and Scrivener is helping me break my PhD dissertation down into manageable sections. 25 mins is an easy amount of time to focus on something and it feels like Im achieving something each time I log another 25 min chunk. However I wish tasks could be imported from Reminders or Fantastical or other apps on my phone since its quite time consuming to enter them all separately, and the pop-psychology part that initially attracted me is somewhat underdeveloped -- they could be made a bit more interesting or rigorous. But for the basics, ie a timer with a task attached, its great.
